La Nuda uses the latest in ultrasonic technology to deliver dental grade results, our Teeth Whitening machine oscillates the whitening gel at 41,000 vibrations per second. This helps surround staining particles faster, resulting in whiter results than earlier technologies.

Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade, treatment time, and the composition of your teeth. Your end result will be a whiter, brighter smile.
Everyone's teeth are different and will have a natural stopping point.
This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle. However, with proper maintenance and BOOSTING top-up treatments (Every 3-6 months), you can keep your smile looking great all year round.
We pride ourselveson providing a treatment that doesn’t just yield amazing results, but always our number one goal is to achieve those results with zero sensitivity.
A very small percentage of clients may feel some slight tooth sensitivity, especially if they are dehydrated, have a long term history of sensitivity, or consume very cold/hot foods or drinks within hours after the whitening session.
Yes, our teeth whitening treatment can actively remove staining from existing dental work and take them back to the original colour.
Our goal is to clean up the existing dental work and whiten the natural teeth to match for a nice even smile. We however cannot whiten them beyond the original base colour of the material used at the time of placement.
If your existing dental work is not in your smile line it won’t matter either way because it is not visible.
We can effectively whiten teeth with traditional braces on, however, the areas under the brackets will not whiten. For this reason, we recommend whitening prior to or post removal of traditional braces.
We can successfully remove stains if you currently have Invisalign brackets in place. Our treatment is safe and will not compromise the integrity of any existing dental or orthodontist work.
We recommend whitening with Invisalign brackets if you have at least 6+ or more months to go with your braces treatment. If you have less than that time frame, we recommend that you wait until post removal of your braces.
As always consult with your orthodontist if you have any concerns.
La Nuda aims to provide quality results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth. This includes people with teeth that have been stained by smoking or by substances such as coffee, tea, soda, wine and other consumable items. We also see great results on people with teeth stained by tetracycline, fluoride, and hereditary discolouration.
Most individuals 14 years of age or older with parental consent are eligible.
However, there may be extreme situations in which treatment may not be advised.
If you are in current pain and have not seen your dentist or have pending dental work, or pregnant / lactating this treatment may not be recommended for you.
Age plays a big part in the results achieved in teeth whitening. Younger clients will have stronger, healthier enamel which means the stains will stay on the surface of the teeth and good results are generally achieved. As we age enamel becomes thinner and microscopic cracks appear trapping the stains. A good example for this is china; you will notice as your dinnerware ages it becomes stained and has cracks in the surface which scrubbing will no longer remove. This is the same with tooth enamel.
There is no limit on how many treatments you can have done. Our products are safe for all types of teeth, with minimal to zero sensitivity.
We recommend maintenance through boosting top-up treatments in salon every 3-6 months.
It is so extremely important to follow your white diet for 48 hours post-treatment.
Just like our skin, our teeth have pores, and they will now be prone to stains more than ever until the pores close back in. Please familiarise yourself with the WHITE DIET.
What stains your teeth?
The three factors that contribute to darkening your teeth are chromogens, tannins, and acids. These are found in many common foods and can stain the enamel or make it weaker allowing for stains to set in easier. While it may seem extremely difficult to go without some of the things mentioned below, just remember it’s only for 48 hours after treatment. It’s a small, brief sacrifice that will help ensure you have beautiful white teeth for longer.
If it stains white fabric, it will stain your teeth…
We must be prepared in order to achieve the best results.
What to Avoid:
Coffee – we understand that this may be a hard one to cut out entirely. If you need some to get through the day, then add milk to help reduce the staining effect. Also, limit the amount you drink to no more than two cups as studies show staining increases the more cups you drink.
Tea – dark tea is actually worse for your teeth’s colour than coffee. Again, if you can’t fight the craving then follow the same advice as above.
Wine – red wine’s acidity and dark colours make it a high-risk drink. While white wine can’t stain your teeth itself, the acidity weakens your enamel increasing your vulnerability to other staining foods.
Fizzy Drinks – acidic and full of colouring, avoid these drinks entirely if possible.
Fruit Juices – avoid these drinks because of their high acidity. Dark condiments – soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, even tomato sauce all carry risks for their colour and acidity.
Dark Fruits – same as above, try to avoid fruits such as blackberries.
Curry – if you’ve seen how curry stains your pots and pans just think of what it will do to your teeth. Definitely avoid this food after treatment to be safe.
Sweets and Chocolate – think of the colour of your tongue after eating some sweets. Your teeth are at risk from staining in the exact same way.
Tobacco – ‘smokers teeth’ is a common expression for a good reason. We highly recommend avoiding smoking after your procedure so try to use nicotine patches and other products to help you fight the craving.
What You Can Have:
Chicken/Turkey – healthy, light coloured, and acid-free. Chicken or turkey is a great
meat to eat in general and especially after treatment.
Fish – avoid darker fish, but white fish such as albacore are fine. Rice – this is a perfect accompaniment for the foods above.
Pasta – although pasta is fine, just be sure to avoid sauces that are coloured like tomato sauce or green pesto.
White Cheese – just remember to not include wine with this meal. Onion – specifically, white onion. Red onion does contain some colouring so it’s best to avoid it.
Egg Whites – the yoke, unfortunately, has colour so be sure to remove it when cooking your egg.
Potatoes – we recommend peeling the skin off and only eating simple white coloured potatoes. Mash potato is also absolutely fine.
White Bread – ideally you should remove the crust to be on the safe side. Bananas – these are a great snack and pose little risk to the colour of your teeth.
Yoghurt – ensure that you eat white yoghurt as coloured yoghurt can contribute to stains.
Porridge – feel free to add milk and enjoy a delicious bowl. If you like sugar, then to protect your teeth in the 48-hour window we recommend using sweetener instead.
NO SMOKING FOR 36 HOURS.
